  • Treat exacerbations: Appropriate management of lung-related acute exacerbations includes antibiotics to help treat exacerbations of COPD and other bacterial infections
  • Supplemental oxygen: Increases exercise capacity in alpha-1-antitrypsin (A1AT) deficiency (also known as alpha-1) patients with desaturation. Recommended at advanced stages of lung disease and when indicated by conventional criteria (eg, during air travel)
